IT’S ABOUT HOPE, LOVE, & FAITH

A MINISTRY OF LUTHERAN EPISCOPAL SERVICES IN MISSISSIPPI
Text Box: As Quoted By:

Margaret Mead:
“Never doubt that a small group, of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.
Indeed it is the only thing that has.”

Herman Melville:
“We cannot live for ourselves alone. Our lives are connected by a thousand invisible threads, and along these sympathetic fibers, our actions run as causes and return to us as results.”

Text Box: Daily Donation Increase

Many of us have been experiencing a steady increase in a variety of commonly used, everyday products (gas & food); so too has Camp Coast Care. While this increase may not be substantial it certainly can become obvious over time, especially when buying for hundreds of individuals.

Camp Coast Care has maintained a suggested donation of $20.oo per volunteer per day for those participating in our program. This donation has helped Camp Coast Care continue offering 3 meals and beverages to our volunteers. This donation has also helped to cover utility costs in the dormitory. Such comforts include: electric, air-conditioning, heat, hot-water, computer access, and even cable television.

To continue offering such comforts Camp Coast Care has found it necessary to increase the suggested donation. Camp Coast Care will now be requesting an increase of $5.00 per volunteer per day, an individual cost of $125.00 per week.

For those reservations confirmed as of July 28, 2008, the donation amount of $20.00 will remain the same. However, any group able to provide the additional amount of $5.00 will be greatly appreciated. Those groups confirming reservations after July 28, 2008, the suggested donation will be $25.00.

DO NOT LET THE DONATION PREVENT YOU FROM JOINING US!

As before, any individual and/or group unable to provide the donation amount may qualify for a scholarship. Please contact our Camp Director: Rev. Diane Livingston at:
DLivingston@lesm.org

It is faith in our mission that Camp Coast Care may continue its vital work on the Gulf Coast, while providing our volunteers as many comforts as economically possible.

We appreciate your support and understanding. Any questions in regards to the donation amount may be directed to our Volunteer Director: Michael Magargel at:
